Patient safety and comfort is critically important to Centre for Neuro Skills. Transporting patients to and from the clinics in a timely manner is one of the most essential aspects of rehabilitation. Families can rest assured that CNS provides professional transport in the morning as their loved ones arrive for therapy and in the afternoon when they return to the CNS residential treatment setting or apartment. For convenience and ease, CNS offers specially-equipped van transportation. The Transportation Services Department serves with compassion, consistency, and professionalism. Our staff receives specialized training and certification in working with the brain injury community.

Training Includes:

• Defensive driving
• Customer service skills
• Crisis and emergency response
• First aid
• Fire safety
• Cardio pulmonary resuscitation
• Appropriate seating and exiting protocols to ensure patient safety

The level of transportation services vary by location and program type, so please check with your local clinic for details. Patient pick-up and drop-off times will be arranged and mutually agreed upon with Transportation Services prior to admission into a CNS program. At that time, patients and their families or guardians may review and discuss transportation protocols and procedures and clarify expectations.
