These revisions have unknown source, authorship and/or licensing and may be copyright violations, so history splitting is not an option. An administrator should use revision deletion to hide problematic revisions while preserving other revisions.

Used to tag files in order to ask administrators to delete a specific revision of the file that has been uploaded in violation of Commons:Overwriting existing files. Such revisions are typically copyright violations (and even if they are the overwriter's own work, there is normally no licensing statement for the specific revision), so history splitting is hardly ever a viable option. Consensus for this tag was reached in Special:Permalink/337996629#Speedy revision deletion tag for overwritten files.
