Oshie Ankle Fracture
ST. LOUIS BLUES Website states – “St. Louis Blues Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced Thursday that T.J. Oshie is out indefinitely after suffering a fractured ankle in Wednesday’s loss in Columbus.
The injury occured midway through the third period on the Nov. 10 game, when Columbus forward Samuel Pahlsson fell on Oshie during a scrap.
Blues General Manager Doug Armstrong said before Thursday’s game that Oshie has had surgery and will be re-evaluated in three months.”
If you watch the video clip carefully you can’t see when the TJ Oshie ankle fracture actually happens.
It most likely happens when Pahlsson wrestles Oshie to the ice.
TJ puts his left leg out to try and prevent the fall and obviously this is when it twists and goes away from him resulting in the Oshie ankle fracture.
To make matters worse Oshie’s St Louis Blues were drubbed 8-1 by Columbus!
